When this second millennium began, the Normans found the country so much to their taste that they never left! Throughout England's rich and colorful centuries, uncountable visitors discovered the country to be an irresistible place. Now it's your turn. Celebrate England's great heritage with us this year. We are Mark and Linda Fessler, retired bed & breakfast innkeepers , true Anglophiles, and enthusiastic veterans of more than 30 trips to Great Britain. We're focusing our unique tour on the Cotswold region and its environs, where, we believe, lies the prettiest countryside in all of England! During our many visits, we've come across out-of-the-way hamlets and hidden beauty spots that we will share with you. We will personally take you to the stately that we like best, the prettiest gardens that we've found, and our own favorite village pubs. We'll visit places you shouldn't miss, including Shakespeare's Stratford-on-Avon and the splendid Georgian city of Bath. Best of all we are only inviting 4 to 6 guests on each tour. That means that we can try to accommodate special requests. If you can make up your own private party of friends, the tour can be custom designed for your group. Our aim is to be a casually structured tour that travels at an unhurried pace. Accommodations are being carefully chosen. As longtime innkeepers ourselves, we are selecting only those special places that experience tells us, that our own guests would like; inns and small hotels of character, charm & history. For the sake of variety we will divide our nights among three different lodging establishments, two in the Cotswolds, and the third on our last night, in the Royal town of Windsor, a short drive to Heathrow/London airport.
